Hi Rob, brilliant article, thanks.

I found it amusing to read "Although discrimination against the Dalits is now outlawed ..." Sorry but this means nothing. Even in the UK the laws are regularly flouted and made an ass of, so how much worse it is in a huge country like India where the police are completely in the pockets of the ruling castes.

In this atmosphere the work of groups like the DDS is doubly to be admired.
